Mark and Robin - it certainly was blue! Blue-ISH isn’t uncommon in the natural world (all kinds of flowers, for instance), but the blues that are common are seldom really blue. Those blues usually have a red taint to one purplish extent or another (hence, the lack of truly blue roses). My eyes really can’t detect any contamination by red, here. It’s really really blue!
