Over here in NE Alabama the pattern certainly seems to have been broken, although not to a huge extent. The official high has been 90 or so, two or three degrees above average, for the last couple of days, and now for the forecasted future. On the other hand, back home we have been having some nice mornings. And even on those days when it seems hot in the sun, it actually seems pretty comfortable in the shade. Or has ... that appears to be changing for home as well.

Mark - did I miss something with this pressure pattern? It currently looks like just the sort of high pressure that should give us stifling heat, but instead the whole east coast is cooler than normal.
