Except for the mosquitos we’re fortunately fairly free of that here in the US (althought that could change!).
These guys just seem to do a good job getting rid of the biting flies, and so they’re good witches in my book.

Indeed! And I don’t know if the Pirate and Daughter have deerflies but I’m gratified at anything that transforms them into lifeless husks.
