Hey Wayne -
That GF larva link you provided above also represents your first commentary at the Band-Aid blog. Cool. I gotcha down to the day, now. I’d forgotten.

I must be getting a low battery message too. I feel tired all of the time. My camera is fine though.

It’s the dog days, Pablo. Maybe when they end my camera will start working again.
The cats feel them too, and are considerably miffed that they must suffer through such insults. When September comes, we’ll have cat days.
Do you get much snow and freezing there? I was thinking about your wood duck house - if the pondette freezes, you could just walk out there and pound a pole into the muck!

Yep, we get freezes, though not much snow. Walking out onto the ice and pouding the pole into the much was how it was placed originally (by #1 Son). I have a much greater relationship with gravity than my son does, so I would be reluctant to walk out onto the ice to remove the unsightly thing, but maybe.

Sorry to hear about your camera problems. We sure do get attached to those things. Good luck on the repairs.
Your description of how to eat watermelon is just perfect. Made me want to go out and get some today at the co-op. Yum.

Very good news Brian. I’m relieved!
By the way, the Red-Spotted Admirals LOVE watermelon rinds!
